Socious Fund Pilot Round: TELL and Mothers for Justice Lead Impactful Wins

Socious Fund Pilot Round Results Are In

We’re excited to share the results of the Socious Fund Pilot Round, and we’re deeply grateful to all who voted, referred, donated, and applied.

Voting Results

  • 766 unique voters participated.
  • 985 total votes were cast across 11 projects (including votes for Socious Fund).
  • Voting power (results based on verified contributions to our ecosystem including impact points, donations, and votes).

Donation Results

  • 24 unique donors made 37 donations, totaling $6,034.
  • With the matching pool, the total funds reached $16,034.
  • Every $1 in the matching pool generated $0.6034 in community donations.

Winners & Funding Allocation

Two standout projects were selected based on total voting power:

  • TELL: Awarded $10,000
  • Mothers for Justice: Awarded $3,500

These two projects received funding from the matching pool, others through donations, achieving 100% funding (some projects may choose to donate their funds back into the matching pool).

Impact Highlights

Capital was allocated in alignment with community votes, and the following priorities:

  • Projects aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Projects led by women
  • Projects from emerging markets
  • Diverse geographic representation

Why TELL Won Despite Fewer Votes

Although Mothers for Justice received more votes (390) than TELL (287), TELL came out on top due to:

  1. A higher number of verified voters
  2. Greater total impact points
  3. Larger donation support

This demonstrates how contribution goes beyond vote count—it’s about engaged, verified support and funding strength.
