Schemas
What is Schema?
A schema is a structured framework or template that defines the format and specific data fields required for a credential. In the context of credential issuance, a schema acts as a blueprint that outlines the information needed to verify the credential’s purpose and validity.
For example (default schemas):
- A Work Certificate schema might include fields like the employee’s name, job title, and employment dates.
- An Educational Certificate schema may require the student’s name, institution, course of study, and graduation date.
